Arrival and Stone Town
Arrive at Zanzibar's airport and transfer to Stone Town. Settle in, then wander the old town's coral-stone alleys, carved doors and bustling markets. Watch the sunset from the seafront before dinner at the Forodhani night market.

Stone Town tour and spice farm
A guided walking tour of Stone Town takes in the Old Fort, House of Wonders, former slave market and Anglican cathedral. In the afternoon visit a working spice farm to taste and smell the spices that made the island famous. Transfer to a beach resort on the north or east coast.

A full day at leisure on the beach. Swim, sunbathe or arrange optional activities such as snorkelling, a dhow cruise, kite-surfing or a visit to a sea-turtle sanctuary. Overnight at your beach resort.
