    Explore Arusha with a visit to a coffee farm on the fertile slopes of Mount Meru, following the process from picking to roasting and tasting. Wander the local markets and learn about daily life in this bustling safari-gateway town. Overnight in Arusha.

    Arusha to Karatu highlands

    Drive to the Karatu highlands (about 3 hours), passing Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley escarpment. In the afternoon take a village walk to meet local farming communities and visit homesteads. Overnight at a lodge in Karatu.
