Getting to & around East Zanzibar
From other cities: From Dar es Salaam take the Azam Marine fast ferry (about two hours) or a short flight on Coastal, Auric or ZanAir into Zanzibar, then continue by road to the southeast coast.
Getting around: Private transfers and taxis link the coast to the airport and Stone Town; shared daladalas run along the main road, and bicycles and scooters are popular for getting between Paje and Jambiani.
